President's Message

As you explore our website, you will see that we are women of our beloved sorority who are dedicated to sustaining and expanding a thriving Sisterhood where members are encouraged to learn, develop and grow through service. If you are a member of our dynamic and illustrious sisterhood and are looking for a chapter home, you are invited to visit our chapter meetings, membership services events, community outreach programs, and fundraisers.
     Please consider joining the East Harris Chambers Liberty County Alumnae Chapter (East HCLC) and help to create Delta history in this new chapter. We appreciate the support provided to the chapter by our families, friends, and community businesses and establishments.  We believe in the power of collaboration and welcome opportunities to partner with other organizations.

Chapter History

Welcome to the web page of the East Harris Chambers Liberty County (East HCLC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a non-profit organization that provides community service throughout the world.

Within a two-year time span, ninety-five college-educated women committed to establishing a chapter to execute service to residents in the East area of Harris, Chambers, and Liberty County. On March 30, 2019, the chapter was established in the spirit of sisterhood as the 1050th chapter to be chartered within the sorority. The chapter is within the "Blazing" Southwest Region and was chartered under the leadership of Regional Director Michelle Brown and National President & CEO Beverly Smith.
